January Favorites 2015

I'm obviously running a little late on my January favorites, but I didn't want that to stop me from sharing some of my top products of last month with you all! Better late than never, right?

This month, I have really tried to branch out with my makeup. Recently, I've been adding a lot of brighter colors on my lower lash line using my E.L.F. 100 pan eye shadow palette; I actually picked this up during my Black Friday shopping trip last year at Target. you really get a wide range of colors and the pigmentation in the palette is quite good, I was impressed! You can really get some vibrant colors when you wet your brush before using some of the more vibrant shades!

During this last month, I actually found a foundation that I now swear by; my Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless foundation has pretty much been the only foundation I have been using over the last month because I love it so much! The coverage is beautiful and the formula works great with my oily skin. I wouldn't say that it completely mattifies my skin, but I don't feel the need to add a ton of powder on my face after I apply this foundation; I would highly recommend this foundation to those of you with normal to oily skin types!

When I use my Fit Me foundation, I do prefer to add a hydrating moisturizer on my face beforehand so lately I've been using my Pond's Dry Skin Cream. For some crazy reason at the end of December and the beginning of January, my skin became super dry and luckily enough this moisturizer seemed to be the cure to it all! This product does have a really think and creamy consistency to help moisturize for when your face needs a bit more hydration.

For my lashes, I've been really into my Rimmel Wonder'lash mascara with argan oil which I actually reviewed here. In short, this mascara really lengthens my lashes and seems to coat every individual lash, which I love!

When I haven't been using my Wonder'lash mascara, I've been reaching for a longtime favorite of mine, the Maybelline The Falsies Flared Volum' Express mascara. I honestly don't know how many times I have repurchased this mascara but every time I run out, I have to buy another one. The formula is absolutely beautiful and makes my lashes look so natural yet give me that "falsie" effect. I kid you not, every single time I wear this mascara I always get asked if my eyelashes are real! This drugstore mascara is truly one of my absolute favorites!

To help set my makeup and make it last the entire day, I've been reaching for my Urban Decay Long-Lasting All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray. What else can I say other than that this oil free setting spray has not let me down yet? It really does keep my makeup in place all day, which is helpful because most days I end up working late at night.

Where there any stand out products for you in the month of January? Definitely let me know your thoughts and products you have been loving in the comment section below!
