Hello gorgeous!

Recently, I read an article from Glamour magazine that totally caught my attention about going makeup free featuring Mila Kunis. I was inspired by the famous actress baring it all on the cover of Glamour's August cover for the whole world to see! I think it's important for women to realize that it's not the makeup that makes you beautiful, it's about what's on the inside that you let shine through that people really love to see. Baring a blank face can be super intimidating to many women, including myself, & it's often overlooked that we didn't come into this world with makeup on, so why feel ashamed of the beautiful faces we have?

With this said, there is absolutely no shame in wearing makeup either! Makeup is about self-expression, feeling creative, & sharing something beautiful with the world, it shouldn't feel like a necessary chore that must happen everyday before work! So if makeup is your way of creating & feeling glamorous, by all means, go ahead & rock that emerald smokey eye girl (we certainly know I love to do so)!

I've been seeing so many articles & postings about bare faces and no makeup lately & I think it's wonderful that big name companies like Glamour are taking a stand & letting women know that it's okay to go makeup-less to the grocery store to buy your gallon of milk, there should be no shame in that! So today, I wanted to share my no-makeup selfie; makeup for me is a creation, an art form.  I refuse to hide behind a mask to cover my imperfections that I think of as "not perfect" or "unworthy", makeup for me is simply a passion. Everyone will always be their own worst critic, we will always be the first to point out the things we dislike most, but how about for today, we choose love & kindness! Let today be the day that we embrace our imperfections, because to be brutally honest, there will never be a day that we will ever be perfect with no redness or imperfections! Love yourself & the skin you are in, because there is no one as unique as you are & the sooner that we realize that the little things are just that, little, the sooner we can get on to being happy & beautiful in this skin that we live in!

You are unique, beautiful & brilliant! It's okay to feel comfortable in the body that we are in, & it is also 100% okay to rock that gorgeous makeup that you have on too! Either way, you are you and that's all that matters at the end of the day!
