Fall, the time of chai tea, chunky scarves, & so much layering! I'm a sucker for fall fashion, although I try not to get ahead of myself! It's so easy to get sucked into this glorious season; I'm sure some of you can vouch for that! Regardless, it's a love that will never die & I'm not going to complain!
Flannels are probably my most favorite part of this time in fashion. When I'm wearing a flannel, nine times out of ten, I probably found it in the men's department in a thrift store too, affordable, & ridiculously cozy! I'm a sucker for flannels because they are so versatile & a staple in my worerobe! Dress them up, keep them casual, when all else fails I can always rely on these trusty pieces; they are a go to option in my closet!
I'm loving the colour options I have when I wear flannels too, I can play up such a small colour of striping with a matching tee or I can play it safe with a white or black tee as well. For this look I picked up this shirt from Forever21 (for under $5 might I add) & it was the perfect touch to this plaid flannel I found thrifting last year! The yellow kept the outfit bold, while the jeans and (well loved) shoes kept it super casual and comfortable all day long! I have a suspicion that this shirt (& colour for that matter) might be well played for this upcoming season, it's fun to dress up!
