Catching Sunsets and Celebrating the End of 2018

Hi all, Happy 2019!

Wow, I won't be the first one to say 2018 f l e w by. Welcome back to my little place on the internet, where I'm embracing 2019 with arms wide open and an open heart. This post is a little late in the making but, I decided better documented late than not at all. ;)

2018 was the year of small victories along with overcoming a couple blocks in the road along the way. In the past sharing my yearly recaps, here and here, I've shared lessons learned throughout the year. It's been great to have the documents to reflect on and to see how much I've grown. This time, I want to head into these next twelve months with my head held high in my silent victory carrying the knowledge I've gained from the previous.

This new year, I can't wait to begin new projects, grow through personal hobbies, and embrace more of what beautiful city has to offer. I'm eager to grow and expand my horizons, experience new places and document the beauty without being too attached to my phone, enjoying the moments as they pass. Sometimes it hits me like a train how incredibly lucky I am to be living in this life that I've built along with the people that mean the most to me. I don't want to pass up an opportunity to experience the magic and spark through this new year because other times, it's a little too easy to let the little pieces slip by. I want to celebrate the tiny victories that I overcome in the next year and I hope you join me with that.

I was so thankful to celebrate the ending of this past year with my family in this city I've called home for the last year (wow, that long already?). We had our fair share of sunsets on the beach (turns out that never gets old), San Diego's best tacos, and basking in the beautiful San Diego weather, pretty much the perfect end to the year.

Cheers to 2019 and all that you aspire!

XOXO,
Latisha
