Monday Edit #8

the lineup

Whew, Monday again? This week seriously went by so fast (which I thought I was totally ready for but definitely wasn't)! 

Nathaniel & I are leaving for Montana today to visit family & drop some things off before we begin our journey to San Diego; we leave this Saturday! There still seems to be so much to do, I've gotten a majority of the packing done but there always seems to be something more. I can't even begin to tell you how much stuff I got rid of though! It feels good to be doing a little (extremely late) spring cleaning while in the process! Getting all of these last minute finishing touches on our move is kinda crazy! 

Nathaniel had his last day of work last night (poor guy got off of work soooo late), & I had my last day at the salon on Saturday. It was a bittersweet moment but I'm really excited to see where my career takes off in San Diego! 

what's be on replay

We've been trying to fit in a Travelers episode whenever we can; you guys, the obsession with this show is too much! It's so interesting and really catching my attention, I. Can't. Stop! I really don't know if I'm going to be able to handle it when we finish this season because the second season isn't even released yet! We only have three or so episodes left until we finish the season! 

what I've been loving 

 Everyday before leaving the house to run errands I ask Nathaniel, "Will you judge me if I wear my slides again?" Luckily, the answer is always positive & no judgement is made ;) I can't help it, they're just so easy to throw on before leaving the house! They've definitely been on repeat to say the least! 

I've also been seeing a ton of more classier & elegant takes on the trend & to be honest, it's not helping my addiction any! I love seeing how other bloggers style them; it helps to inspire my style a bit ;)! 

what's on the menu

Probably my favorite thing this week was making baked chicken nuggets! They were so easy & quick, it was the perfect entree to pair with our Travelers marathon earlier this week! I see us making this recipe many more times in the near future because they were so yummy! Nathaniel even mentioned that they reminded him of some of his favorites as a kid! 

For dessert the other day we stopped by the food trucks in town & grabbed a few liquid nitrogen ice cream sandwiches. Yep, you heard that right, liquid nitrogen! We've seen a few other ice creams shops on Instagram that make their ice cream with liquid nitogren & honestly, the concept in itself is pretty cool, but there's something about it that makes it so much better than regular plain ol' ice cream. If you have yet to try it, run, don't walk because it's just too good to miss out on! We picked ours up for all of my local readers at Street Treats on Best Ave in Coeur d' Alene!
